A New Look, a Better Mobile Experience and a New Beta Batch Coming in November

It has been a while since our last update, and a lot has changed behind the scenes. This post covers what is new in BinauralVibe, and what is coming next.

A fresh look

We have given BinauralVibe a new visual identity. The new logo is built around two sets of bars, one for each ear, joined by a flowing ribbon. It reflects what the app does: two slightly different tones that your brain blends into one.

The refresh carries through the whole app and this website, in both light and dark themes. Colors, type and spacing are now more consistent, and we have tried to keep the interface calm and uncluttered. A session should feel like a quiet space, not a dashboard.

Better on your phone

Most people listen on their phones, so we spent a lot of time making the app work well there.

  • Mobile-first layouts that are easier to use with one hand.
  • Installable on your home screen, so BinauralVibe opens like an app without going through the browser.
  • Cleaner controls for starting a session, adjusting levels and picking a goal.

Audio fixes

We have fixed a number of audio issues that testers reported, including problems with playback starting, stopping and resuming reliably on mobile browsers. Binaural beats depend on steady, accurate tones in each ear, so this was a priority. There is more to do, and we would like your help finding what remains.

A new beta batch in November

We are planning to bring on a new group of beta users in November. We will send invitations in the order people join the waitlist, and the beta is free. Premium features are coming soon, and we will share details when they are ready.

If you want to be considered, join the waitlist now.

What we would like to hear

Beta feedback is most useful when it is specific. We are especially interested in:

  • Audio on iPhone and Android: Does playback start, pause and resume reliably? Does it keep going when the screen locks?
  • First session: Was it clear what to do? Where did you hesitate?
  • Session length and goals: Do the options fit how you actually want to use it?
  • Anything that felt off, however small.

Short notes are fine. A line like “audio stopped after two minutes on my phone” is more helpful than you might think.

A reminder on expectations

Binaural beats are not a medical treatment, and the research on them is mixed. Some people find them a helpful part of a focus or relaxation routine, and others do not. Our aim is to make a well-built, honest tool for people who want to try them. If you have a seizure condition, speak with your doctor before using them, and never use them while driving or operating machinery.

Closing Thought

This stage is about listening. If you join the beta, we will read what you send, and it will shape what we build next. Thank you for your patience and your interest. We are glad you are here.
